Before we called it design, we called it play.
We built caves from sofa cushions, towers from wooden blocks, and little worlds that somehow felt like home. We grow older, but the instinct never really leaves us. We simply begin calling it furniture, interiors and home.
Foundations of a Home is our exploration of that instinct. One piece at a time, we study the building blocks of a home and create objects that invite us to keep building with the same sense of curiosity and joy.
Foundations of a Home
The Table
A geometric side table crafted from white marble and steel.
The Triangle Table is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to one of the simplest geometric forms, it explores how clarity, proportion and material quietly shape the spaces we return to.
The Chair
A geometric chair defined by balance, contrast and clarity.
The Circle Chair 01 is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Combining two of the simplest geometric forms—a cube and a circle—it explores how reduction can create both familiarity and character.
The Side-Table
A solid marble cube defined by clarity, proportion and weight.
The Large Cube is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to one of the simplest geometric forms, it explores how a single volume can quietly define a space while remaining open to different ways of living with it.
A pair of geometric side tables defined by balance, simplicity and play.
The Building Block Side Tables are part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Designed as a pair, they celebrate the simple act of composing space—moving, arranging and rebuilding as our homes evolve.
A compact marble cube defined by clarity, proportion and versatility.
The Small Cube is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to one of the simplest geometric forms, it explores how even the smallest object can shape the rhythm of a space while remaining open to different ways of living with it.
The Screens
A folding lacquered screen defined by openness, rhythm and proportion.
The Lacquer room-screen is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Rather than dividing a space completely, it explores how simple geometric forms can create moments of privacy, openness and connection at the same time.
A folding aluminium screen defined by openness, rhythm and proportion.
The Aluminium Screen 01 is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Rather than dividing a space completely, it explores how simple geometric forms can create moments of privacy, openness and connection at the same time.
A monolithic side table defined by volume, balance and quiet presence.
The Monolith Table is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to a single, uninterrupted volume, it explores how simplicity and proportion alone can give an object its character.
A geometric kitchen table defined by balance, contrast and clarity.
The Circle table is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Combining two of the simplest geometric forms—a cube and a circle—it explores how reduction can create both familiarity and character.
A geometric chair defined by balance, contrast and clarity.
The Block chair is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Combining two of the simplest geometric forms—a cube and a circle—it explores how reduction can create both familiarity and character.
