The Monolith Table is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to a single, uninterrupted volume, it explores how simplicity and proportion alone can give an object its character.

  • Before we called it design, we called it play.

    We stacked blocks, balanced shapes and built little worlds from the simplest forms we could imagine. The instinct to build has always been less about complexity than about composition.

    The Monolith Table distils that instinct into its simplest expression. A single geometric volume, uninterrupted by visible structure, it brings a quiet sense of permanence and calm to the spaces it inhabits.

  • Crafted in Germany by specialist workshops, the Monolith Table is made from high-quality MDF with a deep lacquered finish.

    Multiple layers of lacquer are carefully applied and polished to create a rich, reflective surface that enhances the purity of the form. Every piece is made to order with careful attention to craftsmanship, proportion and durability.

  • The Monolith Table is designed to become a quiet anchor within a room. Whether placed beside a sofa, next to a bed or standing alone, its restrained geometry allows it to integrate naturally into changing interiors while maintaining a strong sculptural presence.

    Clean with a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the lacquered finish.

  • Every Monolith Table is made to order by specialist workshops in Germany. Production typically takes 6–8 weeks before dispatch.

    Each piece is carefully packaged and shipped through a specialist furniture carrier to ensure it arrives safely.
