The Aluminium Screen 01 is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Rather than dividing a space completely, it explores how simple geometric forms can create moments of privacy, openness and connection at the same time.

The Aluminium Screen 01 is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Rather than dividing a space completely, it explores how simple geometric forms can create moments of privacy, openness and connection at the same time.

  • Before we called it design, we called it play.

    We built little worlds by arranging cushions, blankets and chairs into rooms of our own. We created boundaries, windows and places to retreat, discovering that the feeling of home often begins with how we shape space itself.

    The Aluminium Screen 01 continues that instinct. Its folding construction and circular openings invite spaces to remain connected rather than closed, allowing light, movement and conversation to pass through while gently defining different moments within a room.

  • Crafted in Germany by specialist workshops, the Aluminium room-screen is made from brushed aluminium with solid timber framing and precision hinges.

    The brushed aluminium softly reflects its surroundings, allowing the appearance of the screen to shift throughout the day as light moves across its surface. Every component is carefully assembled to create a piece that feels both architectural and quietly domestic.

    Each screen is made to order with careful attention to craftsmanship and material integrity.

  • The Aluminium Screen 01 is designed to adapt as the needs of a home change. It can create privacy, frame a corner, soften a room or simply become part of its composition.

    Rather than permanently dividing space, it allows rooms to remain flexible—opening and closing with the changing rhythms of everyday life. Clean with a soft microfibre cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the brushed aluminium finish.

  • Every Aluminium Screen 01 is made to order by specialist workshops in Germany. Production typically takes 6–8 weeks before dispatch.

    Due to its size, delivery is arranged through a specialist carrier to ensure every screen arrives safely.
