The Small Cube is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to one of the simplest geometric forms, it explores how even the smallest object can shape the rhythm of a space while remaining open to different ways of living with it.

The Small Cube is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to one of the simplest geometric forms, it explores how even the smallest object can shape the rhythm of a space while remaining open to different ways of living with it.

  • Before we called it design, we called it play.

    We built caves from sofa cushions, towers from wooden blocks and little worlds that somehow felt like home. We grow older, but the instinct never really leaves us. We simply begin calling it furniture, interiors and home.

    The Small Cube explores one of the most fundamental geometric forms at a more intimate scale. Designed as a side table, pedestal or sculptural accent, it encourages flexibility, composition and quiet play within the home.

  • Crafted in Germany by specialist workshops, the Small Cube is made from ethically sourced natural marble.

    Every block is carefully selected for its unique colour, veining and natural character before being precisely cut and finished. As a living material, no two pieces are exactly alike. Onyx, in particular, displays pronounced variation in colour and pattern, making every piece entirely unique.

    Each cube is made to order with careful attention to craftsmanship and material integrity.

  • The Small Cube is designed to adapt as the needs of a home evolve. Whether used beside a sofa, next to a bed or as a pedestal for treasured objects, its simple geometry allows it to move effortlessly between spaces and purposes.

    Natural marble develops character over time. Clean with a soft damp cloth and avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners to preserve the stone's natural finish.

  • Every Small Cube is made to order by specialist workshops in Germany. Production typically takes 6–8 weeks before dispatch.

    Due to the weight of solid marble, delivery is arranged through a specialist carrier to ensure each piece arrives safely.
