The Aluminium Screen 02 is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to its simplest expression, it explores how a single reflective plane can subtly transform a space through light, material and changing perspective.

The Aluminium Screen 02 is part of Foundations of a Home, our ongoing study of the essential objects that build a home. Reduced to its simplest expression, it explores how a single reflective plane can subtly transform a space through light, material and changing perspective.

  • Before we called it design, we called it play.

    We built worlds by arranging shapes, creating boundaries and imagining new spaces. That instinct never really disappears. We simply begin calling it furniture, interiors and home.

    The Aluminium Screen 02 explores the quiet presence of a single geometric plane. Through reflection and proportion, it changes with the movement of light throughout the day, becoming less an object on the wall than part of the architecture of the room.

  • Crafted in Germany by specialist workshops, this piece is made from brushed aluminium.

    The surface is carefully finished to preserve the material's natural texture while softly reflecting its surroundings. Subtle variations in brushing and light create a changing appearance throughout the day, allowing the piece to respond to the environment in which it lives.

    Every piece is made to order with careful attention to craftsmanship and material integrity.

  • Designed to become part of the architecture of a home, the piece interacts with changing light rather than demanding attention. Its appearance shifts subtly throughout the day as reflections, shadows and surrounding objects become part of the composition.

    Clean with a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the brushed finish.

  • Every Aluminium piece is made to order by specialist workshops in Germany. Production typically takes 6–8 weeks before dispatch.

    Due to its size, delivery is arranged through a specialist carrier to ensure each piece arrives safely.
